Denny & Company, LLP was established in 1984 by founding partner Carolyn Denny. The firm is currently comprised of three partners, Carolyn Denny, Matthew Denny and Sonia Stodden. Carolyn Denny, CPA — Managing Partner

Carolyn has over 20 years assisting business clients with her hands-on knowledge of accounting, operations, human resources, security, purchasing and administrative issues. She also possesses expertise in tax planning, tax regulations, and representation before the taxing authorities for individuals, entities, estates, and trusts. Carolyn lives in Valencia.

Matthew Denny, CPA, PFS

Matthew brings 15 years experience in accounting information systems and other IT areas, as well as a broad range of experience in accounting, training, and wealth management services. He is the firm’s financial services partner, and through Northstar Financial Services, Inc., a registered investment advisor, provides financial planning and insurance services for our clients including management of client investment portfolios. He lives in Valencia with his wife, Roslyn, and son, John.

Sonia Stodden, CPA

Sonia has a broad background in public accounting, internal audit and corporate accounting/finance. Her experience with an international accounting and consulting firm gave her the needed expertise to manage our accounting and auditing department. She is also proficient in matters regarding individual and entity taxation, business management and business consulting. Sonia lives in Valencia with her husband Phil.
